Crayons Kids Uganda is a registered nonprofit community-based organisation in bearing the Reg No. 0679. It has been formed by a group of youth social Activists and youth Educationalists. The members of the society are all experienced in the field of development and social education & have come together as “Crayons Kids Uganda” only to give their voluntary services without expecting anything in return with vision of supporting the poor communities through caring and giving. Since its inception the community-based organisation has carried out many welfares relief’s, development and issue-based programmes especially for the empowerment of rural lives, orphans, the needy, widows the weak and old. RATIONALE: There is a lot of scope that need to be addressed in Eastern Uganda and other surrounding areas as there were many poor and needy who haven’t been developed and the fruit of development is not reached them. All the benefits are been taken away by the higher classes of society like the rich which are influential in every field of this area. To escape from that situation the officials are doing justice to the lower class and neglecting the poor and needy. Though the rich are getting benefits from the Government they are not utilizing it according to the aims and objectives. Because of increased income inequality the marginalized majority of these societies are left without any help and hence problems associated with shortage in health care services, lack of clean safe water, increased number of street children on the streets. 8. Focus Segment (People): Crayons Kids Uganda will offer its voluntary services to poor, needy, orphans, street children 9. Vision of the Organization: Supporting vulnerable children through caring and giving 10. Mission of the Organization: Improving people’s livelihood to enable them become responsible citizens 13. Specific Objectives: ● To provide basic needs such food packages, shelter and clothes e.t.c ● To provide education assistance to the poor ● To provide medical services ● To provide clean water to the community 15.
